It depends on the kind of mod. An axe haft replaces the properties of whatever haft is already on the axe, and a sword hilt replaces whatever hilt mod exists.

Here's some reading on the subject: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Weapon_upgrade

Good info but not what is being asked...
Question is about order in which mods are applied.(appear in description)
I believe it is 1st one applied is on top 2nd is on bottom But not 100% sure

Their information is exactly what is being asked. The only case which there could be any confusion is on a staff, where it might read helth +30 then health +30 again with both being listed at the bottom. The first is the prefix, the second is the suffix. If they were different mods it would be obvious (insigthful and fortitude for example). All other items can only be one thing so there is no confusion as to what is being applied where.

Say for example you had this staff:

Hale Raven Staff of Fortitude
Energy +10
Chaos Damage 11-22 (Req 10 Curses)
Health +25
Health + 25

and you had a better Hale Staff Head - energy +29 to put on it.

It would then look like this:

Hale Raven Staff of Fortitude
Energy +10
Chaos Damage 11-22 (Req 10 Curses)
Health +29
Health + 25

If you then found a +30hp Staff Wrapping of Fortitude and added that to the staff, it would look like this:

Hale Raven Staff of Fortitude
Energy +10
Chaos Damage 11-22 (Req 10 Curses)
Health +29
Health + 30

Hope this helps.

Ok let me be more clear.
I have 2 HOD swords with enchant mod and furious mod
They both say Furious Long Sword of Enchanting

Sword 1 has 10% furious listed then 20% enchant mod on description.
Sword 2 has 20% enchant listed then 10% furious mod on description
This has to do with which mod was APPLIED first.
I think he is asking about mod order in description of item

This is wrong. It replaces the right mod, but the new one is always added to the bottom of the description.

kc2000ss is the only one that understands english (cause the others seem to write shit which got nothing to do with the question asked here)

If you got for example

Sundering Sword of Fortitude
15-22
15^50
20/19 Sundering
+29 HP

and you replace the 20/19 with a 20/20 it will look like this

Sundering Sword of Fortitude
15-22
15^50
+29
20/20

in other words, the newest mod added will be the one at the bottom. And no, the name won't change to Fortitude Sword of Sundering cause of that.
